This artwork is a symbol of humanity’s aspiration to settle on Mars. But what kind of life would that be for a child confined to a space suit, deprived of all that a living planet can offer.
In this scene I worked primarily on creating fog planes and blending the background with the foreground. There is also heavy use of particle systems. Both as hair on the teddy bear, and on the ground, instancing different types of meshes.
